* Please note that mindfulness is less a theory than a practice, and in order to effectively teach it to others you need to have a firm foundation of practice yourself. For this reason we will be specific about which aspects of mindfulness you may start passing onto patients, though be assured that you will learn some techniques that will be immediately applicable in your work. Workshop Leaders Sona has practised and taught mindfulness, meditation and related disciplines around the world for over thirty years in a number of roles and is currently the Managing Director of Breathworks.
Steve Johnson is an experienced mindfulness practitioner, university lecturer and Director of Breathworks. He is a health practitioner and has used mindfulness-based techniques extensively, including in work with young people and delivering corporate stress management programmes. |
