This is an interesting book from a scientific point of view. Before his recent death, Patrick Wall was one of the major researchers in the area of pain for over forty years and a leading authority on the subject.

 

Chronic Pain: The Complete Guide to Relief by Arthur C Klein. Constable 2001

An excellent book based on a survey of a thousand people who had devised methods to deal with chronic pain syndrome. It includes lots of good practical advice including some very simple physical exercises.

 

Coping Successfully with Pain by Neville Shone. Sheldon Press 2002
A helpful guide written by Neville Shone who has lived with chronic pain for many years
