Managing Pain, Illness and Stress with Guided Mindfulness Meditation

Three meditation CDs are available, for anyone suffering from pain, stress, or ill-health. They include versions that are fully led and can be practised by anyone - no previous experience of meditation or visualisation is necessary.

The Body Scan CD contains two led meditations: a longer and a shorter version. The Mindfulness of Breathing and Kindly Awareness are two-CD sets that contain both fully led practices of differing lengths and versions with minimal guidance.

Body Scan: Managing Pain, Illness and Stress with Guided Mindfulness Meditation

This meditation practice helps us to develop habits of greater ease and awareness of the body. Adopting a comfortable posture, lying down or sitting, we scan through the whole body with our awareness, using the breath to let go of areas of pain, tension and stress.

Mindfulness of Breathing: Managing Pain, Illness and Stress with Guided Mindfulness Meditation (Two-CD Set)

This practice helps us develop awareness of ourselves in greater detail. By resting in a responsive space between suppressing any difficult experience on the one hand, and over-identifying with it on the other, we can learn to make choices as to how we respond to our moment-by-moment experience.
