About Me:
Image of Daniela Sopezki - Breathworks Accredited TeacherI have always been a curious and passionate practitioner of meditation and yoga, open to different paths and experiences that lead to self-consciousness. I am a clinical psychologist and a yoga instructor. I hold a master degree in Clinical Psychology and I am currently doing my PhD.

I have been incorporating mindfulness, in its secular form, into my life since 2010. Today, mindfulness is present in my personal life, my doctoral research and in various formats in my professional career (courses, psychotherapy, classes, workshops, lectures, interviews, retreats, social networks). Mindfulness has become my life! Spreading this concept in my country, especially in the context of mental health, gives me a lot of satisfaction.

About Me:
Image of Teresa Maria dos Santos - Breathworks Accredited TeacherI started practicing Buddhist meditation in 2003 after finishing a Zen Buddhist Meditation course offered by the São Paulo's Municipal Secretariat of Health.

After that I started leading a meditation group (2004-2016) at the Mental Health Service. Among the participants were people who reported chronic pain and also had emotional distress, depression and anxiety disorders.

In 2015 I concluded my Master's degree from the Psychiatry Department of the Federal University of São Paulo / UNIFESP. My dissertation was about the effects of a mindfulness-based stress reduction program in nursing professionals.

In 2016 I participated in the V International Symposium on Traditional and Contemplative Practices in order to promote those practices among students and professionals in health and education sector.

I currently work as a Breathworks Mindfulness Counselor. I teach classes on mindfulness at “Cuca Legal” Project, a research center that develops strategies and programs for the promotion of Mental and Emotional Health, through scientific and educational work (www.cucalegal.org.br - PROESQ / UNIFESP). I'm also a volunteer at Tibet House Brazil. Meditation helped me to expand awareness, kindness, and compassion to myself and others.
