Work With Breathworks

Recruiting - Programme Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for up to 12 hours per week. This new role has been created to help Breathworks Head of Programmes, Ginny Wall, to reduce her contracted hours and bring more balance to her work and family life. It offers a great opportunity for an accredited Breathworks teacher to join the team and ensure the high quality delivery of Breathworks events, whilst capturing leaning and innovation to continue to evolve the programme. See the linked pdfjob description/person spec for further information.

To apply, please send an up-to-date CV and covering letter to helen.sullivan@breathworks.co.uk by Sunday 24th February 2019. If you would like to discuss the opportunity informally, you can contact Ginny Wall at ginny.wall@breathworks.co.uk.

We are planning to hold interviews on the 5th & 6th March, and will be in touch to make arrangements if you are shortlisted.

We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in the opportunity.

Volunteer with Breathworks

Lovely Office People

Would you or somebody you know be interested in volunteering at Breathworks?

We are recruiting for the role of office/admin volunteer at our Manchester centre, which provides a great opportunity to help others and gain valuable office experience. Remote volunteering opportunites (i.e. online) are also available. Click here for a pdfdescription of the role, and contact Sarasuvanna on 0161 8341110, or email info@breathworks.co.uk to discuss further. We hope to hear from you soon!

"Thanks for offering me volunteer time at the office, letting me go at my own pace and on occasions when needed allowing me to stop and try again another week. I have much more energy and focus since volunteering. I reduced anxiety with travelling and crowds and regained so much of my “lost” work confidence.

During my time at Breathworks volunteering I started two evening courses, took up additional ad hoc volunteer hours with Rochdale Council and began initial planning for a social venture for improving perimenopause wellbeing. By November I will have hosted 6 menopause events which would have been overwhelming this time last year. I have recently taken up a monthly volunteer co-production role which I’m feeling excited and positive about. Thanks again to all the team for the welcome, kindness & opportunity and, although Admin isn’t my strongest skill, appreciating my contribution each week. I am grateful for the chance offered to find focus once more. Thank you all of you."
